The Wolf Packs by Front Runner will instantaneously up your organization game. I think our new goal is to replace all of our cheap plastic bins with Wolf Packs. The Wolf Pack boxes are not only durable but the lids secure into place with four latches. They can be used with various Front Runner products and systems or simply as storage boxes when traveling in your rig.
When we travel we use bins to try and stay organized but it’s a little bit more challenging in the van because there is a limited amount of space between the floor and bed. These fit the bill perfectly and we even used them as step stools around camp when we need to get a boost (maybe not recommended but these babies are super durable and stood up to the abuse). One thing that continued to surprise us about these boxes is how lightweight they are but still, robust and durable. These won’t break, buckle, or bend under pressure.
If you’re going to be using these outdoors like on your roof rack, or perhaps tied down to a flatbed trailer it’s important to note that they aren’t waterproof. There isn’t a seal between the box and the lid and there are small holes in each corner for draining in case water does get in (or maybe something inside the box spills). This isn’t a make or break for us. Even when we throw these on our moto trailer, we aren’t worried about box contents to get completely soaked. It takes a lot of pressure for water to move up through the drain holes and we haven’t been in crazy enough driving water/rain to get water in through the lid.
The Wolf Packs stack together for ultimate organization. The cheap bins we’re more accustomed to using likely break or crack if you stack them on top of one another. Hank’s food bin is a cheap plastic bin and it’s also what we set our 5-gallon water jug on. After 6 weeks of water jug abuse, the lid is destroyed. That wouldn’t be the case if it were a Wolf Pack. Also, a funny side-note story, the cows in Mexico get into EVERYTHING and one night we woke up to them tearing into Hank’s food bin. They had knocked the 5-gallon jug off and ate apart the lid, knocked the bin over, and almost ate Hank’s food supply. Again, this wouldn’t happen if we had Hank’s food in a Wolf Pack. Front Runner hasn’t claimed this, but the Wolf Pack is cow-proof.
Whether you’re using the Wolf Packs as standalone organization systems for your rig and travels, or integrating them into your already existing Front Runner system, they are sure to hold up to years of abuse, keep you organized, and outlast any plastic bin that you’ve used in the past by YEARS. Also be sure to check out the Front Runner Scratchits, which are the perfect way to tie down your Wolf Packs.
