For this specific mattress topper, we needed something that would totally up the comfort game of our van bed but also we needed it to be pretty thin because of spacing limitations. MattressInsider had no issue working with exactly what we needed. The van bed is a three part, automatic seat that folds down and is uneven and uncomfortable to sleep on (see the pic!). We wanted more comfort, but only had a few inches to work with.
After a few email exchanges, a 3-in thick with custom dimensions mattress topper was on it’s way to us. We decided on two inches of high-density foam topped with one inch of softer foam. They are using high-quality foam that is comfortable and cool.
The mattress topper comes with an organic cotton cover that is easy to zip off and throw in the wash. In our opinion, the cover makes this product feel more like an actual mattress and less like a topper. Normal queen sheets fit nicely on the topper even though it’s not actual queen size. We even got to extend the mattress topper over the edges of the bed to take up some dead space. Honestly, we will never have another rig with a mattress from anyone other than MattressInsider.
