[Review] The Transaver by Rottweiler Performance

For just under $70 USD, you can eliminate accidental damage to your KTM 790/890 transmission. The Rottweiler Performance Transaver ensures that you won’t damage your shift components should you accidentally downshift forcefully. The Transaver is designed with a gas strut that compresses under these conditions, saving your transmission from damage.  

Installing the Transaver is super quick and easy and honestly, for the inexpensive cost and ease of installation, this is really a part any 790 or 890 owner should purchase. It adds a bit of insurance for your transmission and in the event that you would damage internals, the cost to fix them would far exceed $70. 

The Transaver feel is identical to stock feel, unless you have an unexpected or accidental hard downshift, then the gas strut engages momentarily to absorb the impact, so your parts don’t bend or break. It’s a simple part, but highly effective in protecting the internals of your transmission. Of course, it’s incredibly well built and designed. 

If you’re blowing money on farkles that aren’t protecting expensive engine components like your transmission, then you should have no problem spending $70 on the Transaver by Rottweiler Performance. Hell, even if you aren’t in to farkles and aftermarket accessories, this is one that should not be overlooked. You’ll be pretty bummed if you read this review, do nothing, and go out and have a hard shift and break or bend transmission components.
