[Review] The Camping Folding Beach Wagon by Timber Ridge

The Folding Camping Wagon by Timber Ridge is ideal for hauling gear to the beach, moving in and out of the camper, or moving produce from your garden to your house. There are endless ways to use the Folding Wagon and the best part of it all is that it folds up nicely to fit in the corner of your garage or your camper. When unfolded, it’s sturdy and stable and ready to take on your haul.

The best feature for us with the wagon is the fact that it easily unfolds and sets up in a matter of seconds. Not only does the wagon slim down to 30″x 16.5″x 8.5″ it is super easy to unfold. It takes only a few seconds to have it fully set up which is wonderful. Be sure to watch the video to see the folding and unfolding in action.

The Folding Camping Wagon by Timber Ridge is also very sturdy and durable and withstood the ultimate test when we threw Tyson in it and towed it by moto around an empty pasture. The recommended loading capacity is 110lbs-150lbs. Tyson weighs in right around 200 pounds and so we definitely had the wagon overloaded while being towed at 15-20 mph (and it was fine!).

If you have kids, this is the perfect tow vehicle for neighborhood walks, holiday events, and hauling gear to and from the local pool. Again, the uses for the Folding Camping Wagon are endless! Not only can you fit a bunch of gear inside the wagon, there are also pockets on the front and outside of the cart allowing you to secure some more items. On the larger pocket that sits on the long side of the wagon, there are three mesh pockets as well as one large zippered pocket. I love the option of the zippered pocket because it’s a great place to throw things you do not want to lose. On the front of the wagon, there are two drink holders. Great for parents on their nightly family walk, or water when you’re heading to the beach.

This wagon also comes in a different version with regular, smaller wheels, which is what we would recommend if you are not planning on using this on uneven surfaces. We’ve mostly only used it on pasture, grass, small rocks, gravel, and dirt. If you never plan on taking this on sand but do plan on rough surface travel, the bigger wheels may benefit you. If you plan on using this mostly on pavement or small gravel, I think the smaller wheels will get the job done.

While this isn’t the lightest weight wagon, weighing in right around 25 pounds, it is more of a Clydesdale than a small quarter horse (I don’t really know much about horses but this analogy made sense in my head). It is built to haul big loads while staying stable and sturdy. It’s not lightweight, but it also is not flimsy. The one positive is that even though it folds up into a compact package, there is no trade-off for durability.
