[Review] The Fizz Sunglasses by SPY

The Fizz Sunglasses by Spy are most definitely my sunglasses of the summer. They’re affordable, effortlessly cool, colorful, and house the perfect lens for bright sunny days. The ruby frame color is as hot as the summer heat but will keep you feeling cooler than the deepest depths of the lake. Made with Grilamid®, these sunnies are sure to hold up to even the wildest adventures of your summer.

Grilamid® is virtually indestructible and having tested the material in other Spy sunglasses for lengths of time, I can truly say that this is accurate. I have a pair of sunnies that have been dropped from great heights, sat on, lost in dumpsters, you name it, they have been through it and thanks to the use of Grilamid®, the frames look untouched.

Most importantly, although these sunnies don’t house Spy’s Happy Lens,™ the lenses are 100% UV Protection which help protect your eyes and reduce eye fatigue. With the ruby frame color, the lens is gray with ruby red mirror. I find the gray tint to be great for sunny days and cloudy days alike. One thing to note is that mirror lenses can be a little bit easier to scratch than your normal lens so make sure to always keep these either on your face or in their included soft pouch!

The Fizz Sunglasses by Spy are a seriously sweet pair of shades and at a price we can all get behind. A pair of sunglasses that you won’t be afraid to wear on even the gnarliest adventures, the Fizz sunnies are will protect your eyes from a long day under the sun. If you destroy em or lose em, $65 is a much easier pill to swallow than $200. Not that you want to be constantly having to replace your shades but I mean, haven’t we all jumped into Lake Powell and forgot we were wearing sunglasses only to come up for air without them? It’s purely devastating and all I can say is that if you lose these in a lake, hopefully, it’s a clear and shallow one! You’ll really miss them if they’re gone.
