[Review] The Cheetah Sunglasses by Smith

The Cheetah Sunglasses by Smith are a timeless pair of sunglasses that look cute on no matter what activity you’re doing. I was initially drawn to the Cheetahs after a recent Moto trip. I had some low-quality sunglasses that fit well under my helmet but completely destroyed my eyes because of the lens. I wanted a high-quality lens paired with a narrower temple that wouldn’t hurt my head after full days in a helmet. The worst part about the Cheetahs? I wish I had them sooner. They’re extremely comfortable, made with high-quality materials, and will protect your eyes.

The temple of the Cheetahs is narrow which makes them perfect if you’re looking for shades to wear while you’re climbing, mountain biking, or motorcycling. They’re designed with a wire core so they can adapt to your head shape and size. The Cheetahs fit well and won’t slip off your face if you simply bend over. I love the look of the frame as they’re simple yet feminine with the slight cat-eye shape.

I always trust Smith with my eyes in that I know they’re putting high-quality materials into the lenses to ensure the utmost protection of your eyes. There were many times in Mexico that I was in the sun for the entire day and at the end of the day, my eyes did not feel burned or fatigued. The Cheetahs are polarized which is beneficial especially if you’re going to be around water for lengths of time. While this specific lens/color combo is not built with Chromapop, it is something I would highly recommend with the other lens/color combos. Even without Chromapop, you’re still getting a very crisp, detailed, and contrasted view.
