[Review] The Simplify+ Goggles by SHRED.

We were lucky enough to try out some SHRED. Goggles this year for skiing and to say we were impressed would be an understatement. It’s always such a nice feeling to throw on a pair of new goggles, especially when you know there has been a lot of time and work dedicated to the lens quality. The Simplify+ Goggles by SHRED. are not only comfortable up against the face, the Contrast Boosting Lens technology amplifies your visual experience no matter what the light is doing.

The main reason we’re wearing goggles is to protect our eyes. SHRED.s lenses offer 100% UVA-UVB-UVC protection. With a wide field of view and a great overall fit, you’ll be able to see it all. I have a medium-sized face and these fit very nicely. I like the versatility of these frames and feel like they can fit a range of face sizes.

These goggles are comfortable all day up against my face with high-density, soft foam. There are venting panels on the top and bottom of the frame which allow for adequate airflow and will ultimately cut down on fogging problems. I haven’t had any fogging in these goggles, even when it’s cold out and I have a mask pulled up over my nose.

The Simplify+ goggles come with a spare lens so you can truly dial in your lens system for your riding conditions. I will say that the one downfall I’ve found with these goggles is that it is kind of cumbersome to change the lenses out. They are super easy to pull out, but putting the lens back in has proved to be a bit of a challenge for me. I’ve had a quick release lens system for the last few years so maybe that is my issue but I don’t love having to change the lenses out with these.
