[Review] Women’s Techrock Fleece Hoodie by Adidas Terrex

No matter the season, you will look to your Techrock Fleece Hoodie by Adidas Terrex to keep you warm and cozy. Whether you are using this fleece as a mid-layer during the cold winter months or as a jacket on those chilly summer nights, the Techrock Hoodie won’t leave your house’s popular coat rack.  

While the Techrock Hoodie won’t keep you dry in a downpour, if you find yourself running into a little drizzle or snow drift here or there you won’t get overly cold or wet. With the front paneling of the torso and shoulders made of Pertex, your core will be protected from the elements.  Not only is this a water-resistant fabric, it’s also moisture wicking so if you’re sweating underneath the moisture won’t stay close to your skin.  

The extremely soft and cozy climaheat™ fleece is actually inspired by natural fur.  Not only will the fur-like fleece keep you warm, it will dry faster and won’t soak up water. It is crazy to notice that, if I’m wearing the Techrock Hoodie in the snow, the flakes don’t instantly soak into the fabric.  They more-so just sit on top of the fleece. If you’ve always wondered what it’s like to be an animal out in the snow, now is your chance (kind of).  

I love the fitted hood of the Techrock Hoodie. Not only does it keep you extremely warm, it’s not bulky.  It easily fits under other layers and I hardly notice it back there. I also love the two zip-closure hand pockets.  No more worrying about your car keys when you’re out for a trail run. 

If you’re in-between sizes, I would recommend sizing down if you want more of a performance fit.  If you want more of a jacket, go with the larger size.  I went with a size large and while I love this piece as a jacket, I think I’d wear it more as a mid-layer if it fit a little bit tighter. 

Overall, I’m happy to have a fleece in my closet that I’ll wear all winter long, in the spring, summer, and fall months because it’s just that versatile.  You’ll be so happy with the soft, cozy fleece that when you first get it out of the box, you won’t want to take your Techrock Hoodie off.  You’ve been warned.
