[Review] The Woot Race MX by Spy Optic

As a lady moto rider, it can be hard to find goggles that are not only small-framed but are also durable and stylish. Thanks to Spy Optic, now we can get a good fitting goggle that looks good and feels good too. The Woot MX goggle is perfect for my smaller face.

Since I use my dirt bike helmet for both dirt and around town riding on the Ural, I’ve been able to wear the Woots in both warm and cold temperatures. Not only are the lenses for the Woot anti-fog (yes they stay very clear), they are also scratch resistant. This is amazing for dirt biking because I’ll be honest, I crash a lot and there are a lot of trees where I ride.

I can attest to the comfortable foam in more ways than one. First of all, the Ergonomic Isotron ™ face foam conforms very well to my face. It’s also a moisture wicking material so if you’re riding in super warm conditions and your face is sweaty, it will help with moisture management. Not only does it not let any cold air through, it’s amazingly soft up against my skin.

The silicon strip on the strap ensures that my goggles are going to stay in place no matter the terrain. The strap itself is highly adjustable and made with enough elasticity that it will offer a tight fit.

I’ve never been a fan of nose guards while riding, but honestly I’ve never tried it until the Woots. It’s not nearly as noticeable as I thought it would be and because I have such a perfect fit with the Woots, they don’t rub up against my helmet like I thought they would. Whether you’re a fan or you’re not, you can make the call because the nose piece is easy to remove.

I can’t emphasize enough how affordable the Woots are. Not only are the lenses interchangeable, Spy even includes a clear lens with the purchase. The Woots and the extra lens come with a nicely designed goggle pouch, so you can keep your lenses looking brand new for a long time.
