[Review] The Kinetic Tight by Saxx Underwear

The spring skiing season is upon us and that means a few things. The snow isn’t the only thing that’s going to be melting. Without question, when I go out into the sunny Colorado backcountry, I will be sweating. I don’t have a more perfect base layer for those warm endeavors than the Kinetic Tight by Saxx Underwear. The flowers down in town aren’t going to be the only thing that smells. My sweat is not pleasant but thanks to the anti-microbial technology throughout, it will be helping my cause. Not only are my Kinetic Tights going to keep me cool, aerated, and comfortable, my nuts have their own little personal hammock. They’ll think they’re on vacation, unlike most days skiing when they’re uncomfortably squished between my legs. Yes, my nuts care that I tele! It makes for a lot of rub-age if you know what I mean.

On a more serious note, the Kinetic Tights, with their semi-compression fit feel great underneath my backcountry layers and I’m convinced that they make me faster. The moisture-wicking nylon and spandex combo helps manage my sweat issues and they dry extremely fast.

The panelling throughout, helping with a fit that will move with you not against you, would otherwise be uncomfortable but Saxx was design-conscious in their development of the seams. The Flat Out Seams™ ensure you won’t get chaffing or rubbing anywhere.

The Ballpark™ Pouch Construction is what really sends these out of the ball park for me (no pun intended). I don’t know why I never thought of this concept but I guess I’m glad someone did (thanks Saxx). Basically, I have a pouch that houses my important parts. It’s like a hammock. Have you ever laid in a hammock? They’re so comfy and I’m glad that now my nuts can experience this feeling independently. In all seriousness, it’s what makes these tights stand out from others. They’re more comfortable because there is less rubbing, less contact, and less stink resulting from all of the above.

Separating the package from the legs is key in reducing the horrible smell and skin pain that we all dread after we exert ourselves.
