[Review] The Indestructible Rover Sunglasses by Spy Optic

I’m not sure why I think it’s a good idea to undertake all/any of the adventures I go on with my lifestyle sunglasses on. I most recently realized what a horrible idea that was when I had the opportunity to try out the Rovers by Spy Optics. They are stylish, semi-low profile, and virtually indestructible.

The Rovers are not only developed with high quality plastics like Grillamid®, they also include Spy’s uniquely satisfying Happy Lens™. The Happy Lens is proven to improve your mood and the way things are going these days, I’ll take all the happy I can get.

I love the fact that the Rovers come with a leash and this isn’t just your Grandma’s reading glasses cord. The leash physically clips into a loop at the end of each temple. Wear these on even the most extreme adventures and there’s no way they are coming off. I definitely thought at first glance that having the leash physically clipped into the end of the glasses would be way too annoying to wear but it is surprisingly unnoticeable!

I would say that I have a large face shape and these fit nicely. Definitely if you have a small-medium sized face, they will fit you well with a little bit of an over-sized, cool-guy feel. I like that the frame shape is large and stylish, yet it is not overly bulky so to get in your way when you’re partaking in the activity of your choice!

I have been overly impressed with not only the design and build of the Rovers, but the strength and durability of the materials used. As I was rock climbing I was sure that I would at least scratch the surface of the material, but they came out unscathed time and time again. Check out the Rovers if you need sunglasses that can undertake any mission with you, without getting damaged.
