[Review] The Force Dry DX by DryGuy

The best and one of the most important pieces of gear you can buy if you’re skiing back to back days is the Force Dry DX by DryGuy. Not only does the Force Dry dry your ski boots (and or gloves and mitts) in less than an hour, you can also warm your boots up while you drink your morning cup of coffee and get ready for an amazing pow day.

If you get cold feet and you don’t dry your boots prior to heading out skiing, the Force Dry may change your life. I didn’t use to dry my boots and now that I do, it’s impossible for me to go skiing with damp boots.

Not only is not drying your boots out bad for the lifetime of your boot, it causes unwanted odors and prevents bacteria build up. The Force Dry helps with all of these common problems and does so with the flip of a switch. It’s so easy to throw your ski boots on the dryer, set it, and forget it.

The Force Dry works with a gentle heat and air setting, so as not to ruin any custom foot beds or insoles (we can attest to this as we have custom insoles and heat moldable liners and have never had a issue with them on the dryer).

We also love how versatile the Force Dry is. Not only do we use it to dry our ski boots, snow boots, and gloves and mitts in the winter, we also use it throughout the year. The Force Dry works really well for moto gear (hello sweaty gear), mountain biking shoes and gloves, and even sweaty work boots. Comfort levels will soar when you start to use the Force Dry to dry any and all types of gear.

We love the Force Dry for home but we’ve recently been using the Travel Dry DX when we’re on the road in the camper. The Travel Dry doesn’t dry as quickly as the Force Dry DX (2-5 hours approximately), but it is much more compact and easy to travel with. With the option to plug into a wall outlet or a cigarette lighter, the versatility and ability to dry on the go are second to none.

Whether my feet are rain soaked, snow soaked, or sweat soaked putting on wet or damp boots in the morning is not my favorite thing. Whether you ski or hike or do anything in between, the Force Dry (or Travel Dry if you’re often on the road) is a must to keep your feet warm and dry and your boots living their best life. The Force Dry is by far worth the investment (let’s be honest, at only $80 does this even really fall into the investment category) and you’ll never look back.
