I get really bummed when I have a nice pair of lifestyle sunglasses that are either too bulky or too expensive to take outside with me on my adventures. The Distiller sunglasses by Native are the perfect solution as they look really good on, but perform well too whether I’m mountain biking, climbing, or just taking Hank for a walk.
The full-coverage frame is stylish in size but not overly bulky. It’s also surprisingly slim once you have it on which is extremely helpful when I’m climbing. Sometimes I find that my frames easily scratch up against the rock but with the fit of the Distiller, these have gone unscathed.
Native is putting a lot of development into their polarization. While I don’t have a good way to test the N3 lenses and confirm that they do block up to 4 times more infrared light than regular polarized lenses, I can claim that they do a great job of protecting my eyes. While wearing the Distiller’s I never feel like I am squinting, my eyes never hurt, and I don’t get any headaches associated with light exposure.
Aside from an over great fit on my face, the Mastoid Temple Grip™ and comfy rubber around the nose piece help to keep these glasses in place no matter what I’m doing.
Lastly, the extremely durable yet lightweight frame paired with the option to interchange lenses ensures the Distiller’s will be with you on any adventure for years to come. While they don’t come with additional lenses, it’s great to know that if you have an accident and completely scratch your lenses, you can easily replace them. We’ve been overall very impressed with Native’s lifestyle glasses, cycling glasses, and ski goggles and would highly recommend checking out the brand for any of your eyewear needs.
