[Review] The Como by Muck Boot

If you’re tired of spending a lot of money on leather boots but unable to wear them in the elements because of their fragility, check out Muck Boot Company’s new women’s leather boots. The Como is a tall leather boot that will keep your feet dry and warm in the coldest and wettest of weather. Not only do they look super stylish, they’ll hold up to any abuse you can throw at them.

If you already love the Muck Boot Company, don’t worry because these have the same feel and neoprene structure as even their toughest mucks. The 2mm neoprene build assures temperature comfort in the range of below freezing to 65 degrees Fahrenheit. I’ve tested these in both cold temperatures (25-35 degrees) as well as worn them on warmer days (50 degrees). In both situations, my feet were very comfortable.

Half sizes are not offered for these boots, and I would recommend if you are in between sizes, to size down. I am usually a size 8 ½ and I sized to the 8. They are the perfect fit! Aside from fitting my foot well, the Como’s are very comfortable. If you were using these as a commuting boot, there would be no need to take them off once you get to work.

The boots can be adjusted to your calf shape in a couple of different ways. First of all, the neoprene gusset allows for some stretch throughout the boot. I would say that I have pretty big legs and they fit mine just fine. There is also a stylish leather strap which is adjustable.

A huge benefit of the Comos, that I feel is very hard to find on comparable boots, is the rubber outsole. It is very grippy and will keep you from falling on slick ice.

It’s a bonus that these boots are so stylish looking because they truly will get you through any environment or weather. I love that the Muck Boot Company continues to evolve with their women’s line of boots. They understand that women need durable, outdoor boots and they know that women want to look good while working hard. Whenever I wear these boots, people are always so surprised when I tell them that they are Muck Boots. Women can work and play hard and look good doing so now thanks to the Muck Boot Company.
