[Review] The Braiden by Native

Protecting your eyes from the sun while staying stylish just got a whole lot easier thanks to Native. The Braiden sunglasses are the perfect frame shape, come in a variety of colors, and are built with high-quality materials from the lenses to the frame.

Native’s N3™ lenses “block up to 4x more infrared light than regular polarized lenses, pass Z87.1 testing, provide UV protection up to 400nm, and by significantly reducing blue and selectively filtering UV, they deliver high contrast, crisp definition, and peak visual acuity” (www.nativeeyewear.com). Simply put, these lenses are protecting your eyes from even the harshest environments. It’s easy to tell that these lenses work when you wear them for a day outside and realize at the end of the day you have less eye fatigue.

Most importantly, the Braidens protect your eyes but they do so while keeping you looking good. The medium sized frame fits my face really well and these could easily be pulled off by a male or female.

One thing I noticed right away with the Braidens is just how nicely they stay on my face. It sounds silly but I have some sunglasses that fall off of my face when I simply bend over to pick something up off the ground. It’s become a huge pet peeve of mine but it is a non-issue with these sunnies! Not only is it a solid fit, but the grips on the mastoid temple as well as nose help to keep these in place no matter what activity you’re doing. I also really like the feel of the Cam-Action hinges and it adds to the fit, feel, and security of the Braidens on my face.

If you’re looking for a pair of stylish shades to wear from town to trail, look no further than the Braiden sunglasses by Native. They’ll protect your eyes from harsh conditions, stay on your face, and keep you looking cool. Be sure to check out some of our other Native Eyewear reviews.
