I haven’t had a classic backpack since I graduated college and I’d still have the one I had back then but Tyson made me throw it away. The first thing I realized when I got the Avondale Backpack by High Sierra was how much I miss having a backpack! Recently, to haul my computer and work stuff around I have been using more of a computer tote. The straps are ungodly uncomfortable and I feel like it could break apart at any second because of all the weight I have in it. It’s constantly falling off of my shoulders and leaving horrible red marks.
The Avondale Backpack is the perfect replacement for this tote I have because now I can comfortably haul my computer gear around and have two free hands while doing so! The Olmsted Collection by High Sierra is geared towards functionality and style, so I know I’ll look cute too. The backpack would also be perfect for airplane travel and paired with the Olmsted Clybourn Tote, I will really look like I know how to pack.
The padded laptop sleeve is key and easily fits my 15” Macbook Pro. I know my laptop is protected while being carried in this pack and I can stay organized because of the tech organizers. There’s also a tablet sleeve so this pack is accommodating to your tech.
The side-access panel pockets are perfect places to stash your beverages. The pockets on the outer front are also great for stashing your essentials in an easy to access and organized place.
If you need to buy a pack that you use for work or school during the week and then hiking on the weekends, the Avondale would be a good choice. You can easily add a water reservoir inside and the removable sternum strap will help with stability if you’re doing more than just walking around town.
Staying organized, looking cute, and carrying your essentials are all easy things to do while using the Avondale Backpack by High Sierra. Check out the matching Olmsted Clybourn Tote that is equally as cute but in tote form so if that’s what you prefer, they have the option for you.
