Paired with the Happy Brown Fade lens, you are set for happy times ahead as well as a great all around lens for multiple different light situations. Spy is getting very innovative with their lens technology and with that innovation comes the Happy Lens. The sun emits both good rays and bad rays and the good rays are said to improve your mood, hence the name Happy Lens. The bad rays are damaging to your eyes and so of course you are protected from those. While I can say that overall when I’m wearing these I feel very happy, Spy has done plenty of tests!
The Quinns are 100% UV protection, so your eyes will be safe in even the brightest of lights. I love the Brown Fade lens because you can wear them early in the morning, throughout the day, and then in the evening light. Those weird in between times become less of an inconvenience because you can wear the Quinns through those times.
Durability is essential for me with sunglasses because I’ll be sitting down for coffee with friends one minute, hiking the next, and then working on my dirt bike soon after that. While I should keep the Quinns my nice sunglasses, I can’t help but wear them all the time! I’ve dropped them plenty of times and have not yet scratched the lenses.
