For the most part, when we make upgrades to our motorcycles it is either preventative maintenance or it is upgrading something that has failed on one of the two KTM Adventures we have.
Two years ago, Cally was going over her 640 when she noticed a huge crack in one of her rear axle adjuster blocks. It was an easy enough thing to fix, but we were glad to catch it in the shop rather than out on the side of a road. Unfortunately there weren’t any aftermarket options for the 640. Luckily for me, CJ Designs makes an incredible set of axle adjuster blocks for the KTM LC8 engines.
Even though my stock adjuster blocks appeared to be in good condition, I wasn’t willing to risk it on our Baja trip. I replaced my stock blocks with CJ Design’s Axle Adjuster Blocks. Not only are they billet CNC machined blocks with fine adjuster marks; they come in both black and orange. I chose the orange to add a bit of KTM orange bling to the rear of my 990.
Like every other CJ Designs product I’ve put my hands on, the axle adjuster blocks are made to perfection using quality products and a fine attention to detail. These are made in the USA and are a very easy install. Make sure when threading on the axle block to the axle, you secure with red Loctite.
Again, this is a very easy install that will save you time and money if your OEM blocks fail on the road. Add some style with these quality billet CNC machined axle blocks by CJ Designs. You won’t be disappointed. Be sure to check out all of the products CJ Designs offers by heading to their website. See more reviews of CJ Designs products by heading here.
