[Review] The PowerDot 2.0 Smart Muscle Stimulator

This product has been described as revolutionary and that is absolutely accurate. The PowerDot 2.0 Smart Muscle Stimulator is an amazing tool that we’ve been using for injuries, soreness, and muscle maintenance. The PowerDot is an incredible upgrade from the cheap TENS unit we purchased some time ago. The PowerDot is sweet because it is easy to use, has many program options, and wirelessly connects to an app on your phone.

The PowerDot 2.0 Duo comes in a package with two power pods, two sets of electrode pads, 2 sets of electrode lead cables (10cm and 30cm), a dual micro USB charge cable, a carrying case, an instruction manual, and a free mobile app download. We’ve been surprised to how long the electrode pads have lasted. PowerDot suggests 25 cycles on the electrode pads and the app keeps track of it for you which is nice. We bought extra pads on Amazon to have on hand but haven’t had to switch them out yet.

PowerDot’s app is very intuitive, easy to use, and offers education and different program options. I tried just diving in and using the app and PowerDot without reading the instruction manual and it was easy to do. The power pods connect easily to the app and once they are connected, you can start the program of your choice.

For me personally, I like the lower back programs as I have an injury that lingers. The lower back program is especially beneficial if I’ve had a lot of activity in the day and then put on the PowerDot as a recovery. There is no doubt that it helps with stiffness, soreness, and pain in general. There are three general categories that the benefits of the PowerDot fit into and they are: athletic performance, natural pain relief, and injury rehabilitation. Whether you have chronic pain, an injury that won’t go away, or are just an active person, the PowerDot will help you to feel your best self.

Both the instruction manual and app are very helpful in guiding you on how to place the electrode pads and pods. It’s a no-guessing kind of system that gets you on your way to pain relief in no time.

This is an upgrade that you won’t be disappointed to make. We know that it’s more expensive than the cheap $40-$50 device that you can get online but the programs are tailored to you and your pain level and you can know that when you put the PowerDot on, it’s doing exactly what it should where it should.
