Protect Your Phone From the Extremes with PHOOZY

Tyson and I constantly find ourselves in extremes – whether that’s heat on the motos, cold while skiing, or heat in the summer work months. When we’re out enjoying the outdoors, we typically always have our phones with us. When our phones are exposed to extreme temps or weather, there is always the chance that they will experience some damage and or die early in the day because the battery was zapped. If you’re using your phone in extreme heat (or not extreme heat but you know, your hot car on a hot day), you can put your phone inside the PHOOZY and it will prevent your phone from overheating which ultimately leads to battery damage. It should be noted that you can’t put your phone in the PHOOZY after it’s already overheating, it won’t cool it down (it’s not a cooler). You have to look at the PHOOZY as a preventative step and put your phone in before it’s too hot. 

While skiing, it’s very typical of us to be having fun, listening to tunes via our phone, and then pull out said phone for the perfect pow shot. On those bitterly cold days, the phone goes from a decent amount of battery life to below 10% the second it hits the frigid air. It’s a big bummer because not only did you not get the shot, but you also now have a dead phone for the rest of the day. PHOOZY has tested this product extensively and concludes that it will extend your battery life up to 4X in extreme cold. 

In addition to protection from temp extremes, the PHOOZY also has built-in military-grade drop protection. As you can see in the video, the PHOOZY is a relatively slim and lightweight product yet offers ample protection. This is also an amazing benefit for when we’re out on the motos. We always take our phones with us and I keep mine in a front pocket for easy access. I know for sure that there’s risk in just keeping it in that pocket because if I fall on a rock that’s in the right place at the right time, my phone will be cracked. Now I can keep my phone in my PHOOZY and feel at ease knowing it’s protected. 

The PHOOZY also offers flotation protection, so if you spend a lot of time on or near the water, you’re going to want to invest in a PHOOZY. It should be noted that it’s not waterproof, it’s more of a life jacket for your phone. My iPhone 12 Pro Max is water-resistant up 30 minutes at a depth of 6 meters. The issue is not if the water will destroy your phone if you’re at the lake, the issue is that it will likely sink and you will not be able to find it. This prevents that entirely and allows your phone to float.

It’s pretty cool how simple this product is yet the technology that’s included is complex and professionally developed.
