[Review] The Noella Tech Flannel by Dakine

If there’s one article of clothing that I always have with me, it’s a flannel. They’re perfect for every season, look good with everything, and can keep you warm and comfy. My favorite feature of the Noella Tech Flannel is that it’s made with Polygiene® technology keeping the stench at bay. You could literally take this on any trip and have it be your main layer and not have to wash it once. Polygiene® is proven to help control odors and reduce the amount of times you need to worry about doing laundry. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I wish I had Polygiene® everything. It’s amazing for travel among other things.

Aside from having the benefits of Polygiene®, the Noella Tech Flannel is also enhanced with a DWR (durable water repellant) coating. If you get caught out in a sprinkle, your flannel won’t instantly start soaking the water up. Whether you’re using this for riding or wearing it to the local coffee shop, you are both protected and stylish.

I love that the Noella Tech Flannel feels super soft up against my skin but it also feels rather durable so that I know I shouldn’t be afraid to throw it through the wringer.

I would say that the Noella Tech Flannel is a bit oversized. While this can be great for riding or other outings, if you’re looking for a tight fitting flannel I would recommend sizing down. I am 5’10 and 150 pounds and usually between a size medium and large for tops. I think the medium would’ve been maybe a bit more flattering but I also really like the oversized look and it’s easy to layer up under the large.
