[Review] The All-New, Ultra Cozy Mozy

Mozy is the outdoor wrap you never knew you needed but won’t travel without in the future. I continue to call it a blanket but it’s actually anything but. Mozy is an extremely warm WRAP that secures in place adding both convenience and warmth to your time outside. The Mozy won’t slip off, fall down, or drag on the ground. It’s where you need it for as long as you need it there.

Aside from being incredibly cozy, the Mozy is also windproof and waterproof. The next time you’re stuck outside watching a high school football game at 7 pm in Colorado in November, when it’s 25º and there’s a windchill, will be the last time. It will be the last time because you’ll be sitting there, chilled to the bone, and you’ll remember reading this review. You’ll then pull out your phone and order the Mozy ASAP.

Whether you’re sitting in the stands watching a sporting event, belaying your partner at the crag on a particularly chilly day, or spending time around the campfire, the Mozy is a game-changer. My favorite part about it is that it stays in place no matter what. I don’t frequent sporting events but I do camp a lot. I can wrap this around me, hang out at the campfire, and not have to readjust my blanket every time I stand up to make a s’more (and I make more than one in an evening).

With ample velcro adjustment points, the Mozy can be worn full length from your waist to your ankles, halfway, or just partially secured. With it secured from your waist to your ankles, it is worth noting that it’s a little bit hard to walk with it on but you can easily grab a corner, Velcro it up, and go about your way.

Mozy is even using a patent-pending design that “prevents convective heat loss and keeps body temperatures from dropping more effectively than other products on the market” (https://producthype.co/mozy/). Simply put, it’ll keep you warmer longer. You can relate if you’ve ever burrito-ed yourself in a blanket and then tucked the raw ends in between your legs so nothing moves.

One last added benefit to the Mozy is that it makes changing in the outdoors an absolute breeze. Even in the warmer climates, we’ll keep our Mozy in the car to simply use as a way to change at the trailhead.

While the Mozy isn’t the most stylish piece of gear to wear, it is definitely one of the warmest wraps you can turn to when the weather cools off. Whether you’re camping, climbing, or cheering on your favorite sports team, the Mozy is a warmer, more efficient, more effective, and easier to use solution than that old blanket you’ve been using. It keeps heat in, water and wind out, and lets you get up and move around without losing all of the stored-up heat. If you partake in activities outside during the winter months of the year, the Mozy is a must-have. It even packs into it’s own pocket so it stores and carries easily.
