About a year ago I got the SPY Flynn 50/50 sunglasses which easily became my favorite sunglasses. This year I got the Flynn by SPY and I’m a fast fan. The major difference between the Flynn and the Flynn 50/50 is that the 50/50s are partially frameless. The Flynns have a solid frame all the way around. They’re still a mono lens, include SPY’s Happy Technology, and are constructed of Grilamid, they just have a slightly different look to them with the full frames. I love the entire line-up of the Flynns and I’d even go as far as saying they’ve become a part of my personality.
You can read in-depth about the Happy Lens on SPY’s website but ultimately, Happy Lenses are providing ultimate protection from harmful UV rays while giving you an amazing view. The colors and contrasts are boosted a bit, and I think it’s proven that just wearing Happy Lenses makes you happier. If you opt for a Polarized version, you have even more protection from glare (like water or snow).
SPY has been using Grilamid for a long time, and for good reason. Grilamid is lightweight, yet flexible, and extremely durable. I have sunglasses from SPY (built with Grilamid) that I have used and abused for many years and they’re still holding up.
If you’re ready for your sunglasses to match your happy personality, check out the SPY Flynn. You’ll look cool and feel cool all while achieving the main goal – protecting your eyes.
