This Fall, we plan on taking an amazing desert adventure through Baja on Adventure bikes. Our Plan right now is to leave from San Francisco, follow the coast line down all the way to the Southern tip of Baja, Mexico. A big shoutout to Tyson’s sister who is willing to watch our lazy hound dog for 2-3 weeks. We have no set plans and we have decided it could take 2-3 weeks to really explore, take our time, and enjoy.
Tyson will be riding a 2007 KTM 990 Adventure and I will be riding a 2006 KTM 640 Adventure. Tyson has a lot more riding experience than I do, however we both consider ourselves pretty inexperienced. Riding through Baja will definitely be an adventure and we hope to learn a lot and gather some riding experience.
We both have a lot of work (maintenance, upgrades, rebuilds etc.) to do on our motos before taking off on this journey and will have a ton of information for riders and those looking to get prepared for a similar ride.
Our hope is that this page is a place for us to organize our thoughts as we prepare for this trip and to keep our readers in the loop as far as what we are doing and a set departure date (right now, no set date). Once we get back from the trip, articles, gear reviews, and our experiences will be more organized and easy to navigate on our website. Check out the posts below!
