[Review] The Backseat Barker SUV Edition by Big Barker

If you’re like us and your dog is always with you, no matter the adventure, it’s time you check out this backseat upgrade for them from Big Barker. We love Big Barker because their beds are made with high-quality foam that is especially important for larger dogs who need the support. Studies have shown – and we’ve experienced it first hand, that these beds truly do help keep your dog more comfortable. Hank hasn’t been nearly as sore after long hikes in his older age (he’s 8) and we truly noticed a difference in his stiffness after switching to Big Barker.

The Backseat Barker is a bit shorter than Hank’s Big Barker, measuring in at 3 inches high instead of 7 inches which is what makes it perfect for the car. We tried to put his Big Barker in the car but it was just too tall and Hank couldn’t stand up on his bed without hitting the top of the car. Now he has the added benefit of the comfy foam and can move about freely.

The “wings” on the Backseat Barker are great because they conform to your car and protect the sides of your vehicle from scratches and hair. They’re also ultra-comfy for your dog to cozy up to or rest their head against. I think a really cool feature would be being able to zip the wings off. We could use one but the other one could be taken off so Hank can use the passenger door. It would be sweet to be able to customize that.

All of Big Barker beds are made here in the USA and the suede cover is soft and easy to wash. Hank’s not the cleanest and he loves to roll in the dirt so we are always washing his beds.
