One of the most simple upgrades you can make to your adventure bike that will improve both comfort and handling is footpegs. We’re stoked to have upgraded our stock footpegs on both the 790 and 890 to Vanasche Motorsports Adventure Footpegs. Aside from giving you a much large platform to stand on, these footpegs will increase traction significantly.
First of all, we were really impressed with how these were packaged. I know it’s a minimal detail, but an important one at that. It’s always a little frustrating when you spend money on something and the packaging doesn’t protect it during shipping. Not the case at all with these! Vanasche includes both of the footpegs, set screws (in two different sizes), the allen wrench needed to install set screws, and new cotter pins. You’ll reuse the stock pin, washer, and spring. All we needed to provide was some blue thread locker, a zip tie for the spring, and a few tools.
Not only do these give you more surface area to stand on, but they also position you 3/4 of an inch lower and 5/16 of an inch rearward. For us, the positioning is really comfortable. The specific size of these footpegs is as follows: 2-3/8” Wide by 3-7/8” Long. As you can see in the photo, quite a difference over the stock footpegs.
The Adventure Footpegs are made with 7075 Aluminum Alloy which is double the strength of the more commonly used 6061 aluminum. Not only do these footpegs look like a work of art, but they are also going to last a lifetime.

- Some will complain about price but these are worth it in our opinion. They will not fail on you and should last the lifetime of the bike (backed by a lifetime guarantee). We also suggest not relying on poorly made, low quality pieces of gear that are essential, like footpegs. Worth the investment.
