[Review] The 128 oz. Oasis by Hydro Flask

With that said, the Oasis is definitely a beast but that’s a pretty unavoidable title when you can keep an entire gallon of ice water cold for 24 hours. It’s not a bottle you’re going to take with you on a solo-backpacking trip but it’s perfect for car camping, close to home adventures, beachy picnics, and neighborhood BBQs (this list could go on forever).

We always have a gallon of water in our car so we’re never parched after adventures (and to keep Hank well hydrated of course) but it always feels so risky letting a gallon jug roll around in the back of the car. It’s a gamble for sure, like, we’re never really sure when the lid is just going to bust off and soak everything in it’s path. Now with the Oasis, we can have piece of mind while staying hydrated. We can’t guarantee this but I’m pretty sure the lids on the Oasis wouldn’t bust apart if you dropped the Oasis from a 10-story building.

The Oasis pours really nicely which surprised me (I mean, I really should know by now not to doubt Hydro Flask). At first look, it seemed like it would kind of make a mess when pouring. Of course it pours perfectly every time. There is even a nice lip on the bottom of the Oasis, which translates into precision pouring every time.

The dual lid design ensures an easy pour, easy filling, and easy cleaning. The larger lid screws off easily and seals seamlessly. With more than four inches in diameter, the Oasis is extremely easy to fill and even easier to clean. Cleaning Hydro Flask’s are a breeze and you’ll never get a funky taste when switching beverages.
